Really liking the update to the commander bracket descriptions. Incorporating game length/win speed is a huge improvement and something I've been advocating for. Removing "precon" from the bracket 2 description and the tutor restrictions from bracket 3 are big wins as well

That phrasing is how you know it's a real sign made by a real boomer. I work adjacent to a retirement community and there are so many hand-painted campaign signs around: "Vote no on bond, override. IS A TAX, CAN'T AFFORD!"

No offense, Blake, but Wizards literally sent the pinkertons after someone for posting cards early, so pardon me if I don't really buy that this won't be used to punish creators in the future.

Seems pretty obvious to me that they're going to use this data to determine who should be receiving preview cards and ambassadorships going forward, not sure there's any other way to interpret that quesiton.

It makes sense from a business perspective but is bad for the game. Splitting up the shock reprints across 2 different ban cycles is going to be hell on standard when the EOE cycle rotates out but the llorwyn cycle is still legal for a year, and that's just one example off the top of my head.

Of course they know what's being said, otherwise they wouldn't have asked the question! They want to try and quantify who is having the largest impact on sales and minimize that impact going forward.

The survey asked respondants to name the content creators who shaped their perception of the set BEFORE asking this question. This is gonna end up being a witch hunt. I would not be surprised if this results in folks not being considered for future ambassadorships, etc.

Worse, honestly. The question directly preceeding this (and appearing on a different screen entirely) asks you to name magic content creators whose opinion you took into account regarding spider-man. Only after you name them do you get this question.
