Attacking and calling for Jess Phillips to resign feels like a new low in politics.

She has been working with vulnerable and exploited women years before she was even an MP. She has carried on that great work since.

She’s one of the good ones.

Nigel Farage accuses teachers of ‘poisoning our kids’ on race issues — The Guardian Exclusive: Reform UK leader’s remarks at event for private US college criticised as ‘grossly irresponsible’ by NEU leader

apple.news/AbJxIKUSVR1y...

Here is Farage being paid to speak in the USA again and lying about our country again. He is such a treasonous Putin backed piece of shit.

Watched Question Time tonight and really proud of the people of Shrewsbury for pushing back on some of the more rancid aspects of discourse around immigration in media and politics.

(Was less thrilled that they were apparently baffled by the concept of a 1% wealth tax).

Who would go in to politics when the bar for losing your job is so low?

To quote the Independent Ethics Advisor "Angela Rayner has acted with integrity & with a dedicated & exemplary commitment to public service".

Yet that still is not enough.

So another northern woman is hounded out!

Now Farage is dangerously predicting the collapse of this government within 2 years.

The media salivating on every word.

We have never been in so much danger as we are today.

Democracy is on the brink. Farage is a dangerous traitor.

My grandson (2) and my sister’s 2 great grandsons (1&2) will all benefit from the 30 hours free childcare. Allowing my daughter and great niece to work 3 full days. Both are on minimum wage but the boost to their family incomes is significant.

This is the difference with Labour

Reform isn’t a political party. It’s a corporate lobbying firm.

The business model is simple. Wealthy elites pay Farage to push policies that could make them millions.

4 infuriating examples:

Reform UK, which has a grand total of four MPs, was just given an uninterrupted platform for an hour and a half on the BBC and Sky News channels, in order to talk about its plans for mass deportations

When was the last time the Greens (with four MPs) or the Lib Dems (with 72) were given the same?

Cutting-edge personalised treatments, made while you wait, will deliver specialised care to patients more quickly New regulations effective today will make it faster and easier for cutting-edge cancer treatments and personalised gene therapies to be made right where patients are treated.

Cutting-edge cancer treatments made within days rather than weeks or months.

Personalised gene therapies to be made while patients wait (with only minutes of shelf life).

Both will now be possible thanks to the world-first regulations coming into force today, thanks to the Labour government.

Right, the BBC’s platforming of Farage is getting completely out of hand. On the left, the 4 stories mentioning Ed Davey on the BBC News app since April 1st. On the right, some of the 40+ stories about Nigel Farage in the same period.

I agree 😞 My daughter has a terrible time and likely has PCOS. Despite having all the symptoms plus positive scans we’ve got nowhere. Only advice to go on pill, ignoring the associated risk of T2 diabetes! I do worry about the jabs though with the risk of eating disorders, again under-researched.

Petition: Review traditional and social media regulation Review media regulation, including social media, to consider the introduction of stricter regulations to ensure truthful reporting, accountability and integrity across all platforms, including newspap...

Hate the way the media present EVERYTHING the Labour government do as a bad thing, while giving Reform a free pass and letting the previous Tory government off the hook over all they did to hurt us?

Time for some major updates to media regulation - please sign and share my petition!

The latest stats show their strategy is creating tangible improvements – and a brutal reality check for the Tories and Reform.

“Where is the Labour party we know, they aren’t spending on the NHS & infrastructure”

“Labour is spending too much on the NHS & infrastructure. I’m going to have to pay more tax”??

Whatever happens Labour will never win over this ridiculous country.

It’s all media driven, listened to by drones.

So predictable.

Day after the spending review, the media now moved on to the budget and start speculating about it and making headlines saying 'the Chancellor won't rule out tax rises' when what she said was that she (rightly) won't be drawn on details of the budget 5 months out from it.

Nigel Farage has been making some big populist promises.

But behind the soundbites lies not only a financial black hole, but tells us a lot about the future he sees for Britain:

Let’s take a closer look

Elon Is Out, and We Should Take the Win As Elon exits the government literally bruised and battered, there is plenty of reason to rejoice

It's hard to celebrate when someone like Elon Musk waltzes into the federal government, wrecks the place, and walks away seemingly with everything he wanted. But did he, though? In the end, Musk left defeated, humiliated, and widely despised. That’s no small thing. We should take the win.
