White pigments are, historically, controversial! Did titatium dioxide suddenly become very cheap so that’s why Pantone is expecting its use to be higher this year? What market data do they have?

I really don’t fucking get it. Like, sure the european union just declared that titanium dioxide isn’t to be classified a carcirogenic after all, but the USA are almost certainly angling for banning it as a food additive at the least, if not across other industries. It’s NOT a good time for white!

I really hate swiping based app UIs, not only do I keep accidentally swiping shit I don’t mean to and that’s frustrating, but it’s not intuitive either. Most apps have no visual indication that swiping a) is possible and b) what it will do.

Also a lot of people, used to more algo driven social media, seem to think that following someone doesn’t mean “I want and expect to see your posts” it means “I am boosting your stats to increase your chances for ur posts to be shown to ppl in general”.

I think another problem is all those “follow for follow, blue wave hashtag, no dems left behind” people now follow so many scam bots their follow page is unusable, so they’re camping on the discovery tab instead

I’ve seen the kind of people @kristadb1.bsky.social used to attract on Reddit so I’m not super surprised by what she’s getting here, but also I realized some of this (not all) is people on the Discover tab not understanding how social media works because I used to see this on Facebook.

i really need people to stop hiring this person for covers. we got in another book with their obvious Ai art in the other day and the more of this shit thats on the shelves the more people will want to work with her. she's been called numerous times. her whole portfolio goes from clip art to Ai.

whereas if I were writing her in close third POV, I would snitch on her deepest turmoil and emotions... but since she is the one telling the story, we only get what she is willing to tell. So I'm feeling a lot more limited writing this POV than I'm used to lol

what I find really funny is whenever people say that first-person POV is more intimate and honest or whatever, when my experience writing it has been completely the opposite! The character I'm writing in first is NOT fessing up to her emotions, there is a lot of shit she just won't tell the reader
