This has a good story and a great cast, but my goodness. There’s an academic paper to be written on the way men speak to the female characters in this, which must have been normal in 1965. Things may not be perfect now, but they’ve certainly improved.

Yeah, I wanted a quad too of course! But a patch that will gather dust on the shelf will have to do. I also had a funny letter in the box for this one apologising for sending it in a Kronos box and that the Quatermass 2 box will be sent separately. I don't need it!

They said it was going live at 12 but it was actually live before that, so I think I got in there at around 11.50 and got one. It did show up in the cart too.

Oh man, I can think of a few I'd like to write, but it'll have to wait a while before I can even write the proposal. I'll get back to you!

I have both patches. Not sure where I'm going to stick them though!

Just submitted another blu ray booklet essay. That's where I really got started as a freelancer, but these days I mainly get commentary gigs so it's nice to go back to basics. This one is another dream essay, writing about my all time favourite film company.

My top ten list didn't have any horror films in it, so to redress the balance here's an attempt to list my top ten horror films of the 21st Century (I wanted to include The Borderlands (2013) but it wasn't on their list):
