It literally just happened to me last night while I was streaming and I don't know how to feel.
I don't think it was meant to be hurtful or disrespectful, but I do not like it.

Right, the tech is so weird. They kept the spaceships retro-futuristic, but then the tech on the planets is so current day modern?

And yeah the songs are so jarring.

Same! Like, right out of the gate with the clumsy exposition, the awkward dialogue, pacing. I was so excited for this, but it does nothing for me either as an Alien show or anything else, really. I know it's a cliché to say this, but to me it genuinely feels like it was written by AI.

How is Alien: Earth so incredibly bad in every possible aspect? Like holy shit Romulus I thought was pretty darn good and it made me get my hopes up for the show. Even the script feels like it was written by AI. Vibes of some low effort 90s sequel over here.
