Google results that read "Yes, laying large eggs can be bad for chickens, causing stress and potential health problems like painful pro- lapses, bone fractures, and reproductive disorders. It is best to avoid purchasing large and extra-large eggs to encourage healthier practices and support the welfare of laying hens.

Health problems associated with large eggs

Reproductive distress: Large eggs can lead to reproductive issues like prolapsed cloaca and egg binding, which can be painful and sometimes fatal.

Skeletal damage: Laying an egg that is too big for the bird can cause skeletal issues, such as fractures in the keel bone (the breast bone).

Stress and lowered immunity: Being constantly pressured to lay large eggs can cause chronic stress, which can lower a hen's immune response and make them more susceptible to infections."

Did you? Because a quick google suggests that the post apparently isn't wrong and there's been campaigns about it in the past. Or are you more in the 'eating eggs at all is bad' camp?

Close, but it's called media training. They need to get rid of that for newly elected politicians because it instantly turns them into robots that the public no longer relate to

Except the reason for that USB-C transition was due to the EU regulation forcing manufacturers (looking at you, Apple) to all use a common connection standard, precisely so people wouldn't be forced to buy new & chuck old cables/adaptors with each new device, in order to reduce electronics waste

It's on Portsea island in Hampshire, but the city basically takes up the whole island. The gap between the mainland and the island is only maybe 100ft at its narrowest.

I don't know, I think Nick just second guessed himself one too many times. I can see how he might have suspected Joe, but he was so *certain* about Alan being a Traitor, why then choose to end the game with Alan still in?!

Vital piece of investigative reporting from Sky. They've uncovered the X algorithm which feeds users extremist right wing material from the moment they join the site. It is a far-right radicalisation engine, by design.

I'd like to think so, but this is my constituency and I've just searched the 2 biggest local fb groups with 17k & 20k members and there's nothing about it in either of them. Never forget the bubbles we create for ourselves.

Yeah makes sense. Tbh I can only really speak about the affects of HRT for peri-menopause whilst having ADHD. Not sure about the impact of oestrogen-based HRT for GAC and the different biology that might be involved with production of dopamine.

I don't know for sure if oestrogen would increase dopamine production in an AMAB body/brain (hope I've described that appropriately), but I suppose in theory it would. Might be worth researching or checking with your doctor. Either way I'm happy for you πŸ³οΈβ€βš§οΈ

Honestly, I have ADHD meds prescribed but increasing my HRT dosage has helped massively to control my ADHD symptoms as well. Highly recommend!

28.10.2025 19:00 β€” πŸ‘ 10    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 3    πŸ“Œ 0

Oestrogen helps to produce dopamine. Low oestrogen = low dopamine levels which creates a subconscious desire to increase them, often resulting in impulsive and risky behaviour. This is especially pronounced in people with ADHD.

HRT is marvellous.
