My tip is that if you fancy staying at any of these, do check the Michelin keys rating first and if it is not 3 keys, then consider some other hotel.

Adelaide Hills wine region is dominated by Riesling, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir whereas neighbouring McLaren Vale is dominated by Shiraz and Grenache.

This is Southern Ocean Lodge on Kangaroo Island in South Australia which is part of the Baillie Lodges group. It is ranked #8 best hotel in the world by The Telegraph and it certainly deserves to be up there.

Housekeeping didn’t bother to pitch up a few days and when they did they didn’t clean properly. Laundry lost. Etc etc

This is The Calile in Brisbane deemed to be the 39th best hotel in the world by The Telegraph. But sometimes they get it wrong. We thought it was the worst hotel we had stayed at for many many years

There are many options for this in Australia. This particular one was done in Brisbane and included 1 winery, 2 beach bars on islands, 1 mountain retreat and 1 Master Sommelier bar, and took 7.5 hours in total.
