It is not illegal to watch, record, follow, or track immigration officers. It *is* illegal to threaten, punish, or point a gun at them when they've done nothing illegal. If all these people were doing is observing, this is a crime. As are all the similar videos.

It is hard to fathom how inhuman, sadistic and disgraceful it is for government agents to be lurking at elementary schools to seize kids and use them as hostages. To send little kids to concentration camps. To refuse needed medications. Truly, American Gestapo.

This is sad, but good: Artists are refusing to normalize this idiocy, and instead of just commanding performances - which they can't do - the Trump people are closing it down and slinking away.

It was probably difficult to foresee that Trump would put the Kennedy Center out of business.

Six days ago federal officers murdered a man in the streets of Minneapolis and we still don't know their identities. Is there any modern precedent for this?

This. They are turning the wealth the American people have created over generations into cash for their own dirty pockets. It’s obscene.

I get that everyone wants to yell (rightly) at Hakeem Jefferies & Chuck Schumer, but stop giving Lisa Murkowski & company free passes as if they have no agency to stop all of this immediately tomorrow by simply fulfilling their oaths of office & no longer caucusing with or voting for authoritarians.

When the president was calling all Somali immigrants "garbage" who "come from hell" and "contribute nothing" to America and therefore needed to go "back where they came from" did you ask him to "stop the rhetoric," Tom?

So we can put a number on "you can fool some of the people all of the time."

We did not properly punish the confederates. We did not properly punish the insurrectionists on January 6th. We have to punish ICE.

They can’t be allowed to slink back into their communities quietly. Expose them. Arrest them. Convict them. Imprison them.

Federal agents cornered Marimar Martinez, shot her several times, boasted about it, arrested her, lied about her to the public and in the police report, and falsely charged her with assaulting them.

Now the government wants to keep evidence of their lies secret to protect these agents' "privacy."

You see ICU Nurse Alex Pretti assisting veterans learning to walk again. Donald Trump sees a domestic terrorist and suckers and losers.

The president of the United States had his Justice Dept. raid an election office and seize ballots in order to cast doubt on an election he lost. Yet, this is treated by legacy media as just another normal day.

Every social theory undergirding Trumpism has been broken on the steel of Minnesotan resolve. The multiracial community in Minneapolis was supposed to shatter. It did not. It held until Bovino was forced out of the Twin Cities with his long coat between his legs. The secret fear of the morally depraved is that virtue is actually common, and that they’re the ones who are alone. In Minnesota, all of the ideological cornerstones of MAGA have been proved false at once. Minnesotans, not the armed thugs of ICE and the Border Patrol, are brave. Minnesotans have shown that their community is socially cohesive—because of its diversity and not in spite of it. Minnesotans have found and loved one another in a world atomized by social media, where empty men have tried to fill their lonely soul with lies about their own inherent superiority. Minnesotans have preserved everything worthwhile about “Western civilization,” while armed brutes try to tear it down by force.

Watch the latest New York Times videos of the murder of Pretti. Flat out murder. Assassination. Top officials of ice and DHS not only protecting the killers but intimidating witnesses, withholding evidence, may be destroying it. Minnesota needs to prosecute these criminals.

We live in truly extraordinary times. A Republican president has totally abdicated on <checks notes> free trade, NATO, & the right to keep & bear arms. The corruption & lawlessness are not the only unprecedented things.

Noem resigns? Great, defund and dismantle ICE.

Go after Stephen Miller too. Bring charges against ICE thugs at the state and local level. Lawsuits. New state laws restricting them.
