Some thoughts on the chronic underfunding of the Czech Science Foundation. Much of this problem stems from the recent Ministry of Education’s sloppy implementation of funding for non-teaching staff at grammar schools.

Our first publication output within the Czech Science Foundation project (25-15428S) about the prebiotic role of peptides in the emergence of the #ribosome.

A scheme of chemico-biological evolution of protein-RNA interactions. It started about 4.5 billion years ago with prebiotic monomers, went through peptides, oligonucleotides, and simple complexes, reaching proteins and RNA at about 4-3.7 billion years ago.
