Anyone have any brewery recommendations in the Buffalo/Amherst/Williamsville area in WNY? Visiting the old campus (and Duff's) this weekend and I'm sure things have changed since 2000.

Best non-Phish show I've seen this summer (with apologies to Weird Al)

If Coventry is excluded, then:

7/22/16 in Los Angeles. Crowd were the worst chompers ever. Even worse than Forest Hills. The show was nothing to write home about, but the crowd made it the Worst Show Ever.

We all kinda look the same outside the venue, but I was looking for him lol.

It transcends cultures and language (although his English is way better than my Japanese). We literally found a common vocabulary during the Beacon Jams and have been chatting ever since.

How excited we are, which seats we have, and we couldn't believe that they're coming to our neighborhood. He told me about when he saw the band in 1999:

He tells me about his favorite shows, and we trade stories and ask each other questions. About a month before the
Forest Hills shows, we ran into each other in the laundry room for the first time in about 8 months and we were just geeking out about them: 2/5

🧵There's a man in my building who is probably about 8 years older than me, Japanese, and speaks limited English. He LOVES Phish. Huge fan. And every time we see each other in the elevator or laundry room, we just talk about music and if Phish has any tour dates coming up. 1/5

Phish.net ratings are fun but unreliable. All good shows go through this, and it's why the ratings system had to be shut down for a while after NYE 2023.

I was there and it was great, but better than Cypress and NYE '95? Well, now that's just silly. And that doesn't diminish anyone else's opinion.

Why can't I stream @livephish.bsky.social from the desktop site without paying for a subscription? I don't use my phone for listening to music, so what are my alternatives to stream shows that I've redeemed in My Stash?

2004: 8/10, 8/11, 8/12 then Coventry. Technically 5 shows but a lot of travel, and Coventry carries more weight.

2015: 8/11, 8/12, 8/15, 8/16, then Magnaball

I've never taken an extended break; only Phish has.
