the petty power that attracts people to security work... is probably difficult to select against, but it sure would be nice if we could...

i'm always too scared to use the box grater and the mandoline, so i'm trying out a rotary grater now... so far, pretty good, but the all plastic construction is definitely weak

I do feel like they should select hold music with an eye for the horrible compression -- like maybe something mainly in speech standard sounds

IIRC Yes and it's extremely low bitrate too so it's super super compressed for speech (and maybe making its way through multiple systems and therefore compressions)

(oh my other milking thought is that i now understand why we bred cows to have standard udder sizes once mechanized milking became a thing. it took a while longer for humans to realize we do not have standard udder sizes.)

there is no sorrow as great as spilling milk

it is true that the air fryer does not have the same bougie feeling, so it is not a 1:1 comparison

We got our revenge as they had parked in our spot and we told them to move (But where do we park? Not our problem!) (We did need our spot, but we may otherwise have tried to work something out)

Wait it's now just the share button there, I thought! A genuine new feature that was useful!

That's really cute though, everytime they see a cat or bird they think of you!!!

This is not the first time people have done this, so I'm ready to be one of those people with annoying signs.

I have never had as much hate in my heart for a (probably mostly innocuous) person as for the person who rang the wrong doorbell and woke slightly sick baby, bf, and myself at 7 AM (read: terrible sleep, really needed that extra hour).

i didn't realize this existed (which is why i've always been meh on the dress pockets thing)

I got a smart watch so I could have offline maps on my wrist, which it turns out is not as useful as expected, but it does let me add stuff to my to do list and set timers from anywhere.

And also inform me that I did cardio yesterday (played wingspan, got too excited apparently)

Have significantly upped my grain bowl game, lunches are delicious again. Quick pickled jalapenos, herby yogurt sauce with sneaky shrimp paste, and fried firm tofu were the newest staples. Also the device to quarter cherry tomatoes (designed for babies), does work for this, I am vindicated.

I did a Project and organized them by type, and kept only one of the more obscure types. Worth the time investment!

It's a setting for both, but I think people are much more likely to allow anyone to message them on LinkedIn... Which doesn't seem like there is any reason for, except when each became popular and the dominant culture around Internet safety at the time

This seems to be the only way to find people to tell them about their misdelivered packages, but it somehow feels more awkward than facebook... But now I'm imagining looking someone up on yellow pages

Trapped in a car while bf and little bro deep discuss Sanderson
Can't tell if this is better or worse than the usual magic the gathering talk

he did get past the 'flopping over and sitting up gains a few inches of forward motion' and the 'wiggling moves backwards' pretty quickly. all methods of locomotion are v cute so far.

the baby uses one leg as a lever and then crawls normally with his other leg... this is is an example of deceptive reward wherein the baby is able to locomote but not speedily.

Sewing friends, is it possible to patch or somehow repair the netting of lace? My mom melted some holes and they're in an unfortunately visible location. The actual lace part is unharmed.

i mean, it's edible, but it's super thick and not very tasty, so usually you peel it?
