But now? I’ll turn on a random nationally televised game if it’s Wemby or Ja or SGA and some others playing against each other. It’s just fun to watch and not me emotionally entangled like watching the Sixers is for me.

I have been a Sixers fan over a general NBA basketball fan my entire life (I’m in my 40s). But the talent being where it is now has made me more of a fan of just good basketball. Like, I have never cared to watch any non-Sixers, or non-elimination playoff games in the past.

If disaster truly strikes & Embiid is just cooked physically… what do the Sixers do? What are the actual realistic options? Same goes with PG. PG played okay the other night, but man, he looks fragile. Tanking this season aside, what does Daryl do if the whole thing comes crashing down?

Only the true sickos are watching tonight's game. No Embiid (potentially), no PG, and a probably-still-hobbled Maxey losing to the Ben Simmons Nets isn't something I'm going to subject myself to.
