14.09.2025 14:57 — 👍 2 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0Yesterday's game was no feast for the eyes, & the result not much better for the soul, but we looked the equal of Fulham most of the time, & that gives me some hope - Gnonto on earlier (instead of James & sooner) & Tanaka for Stach on 80-ish minutes & we might have sneaked a win #lufc
14.09.2025 11:58 — 👍 6 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0We should always have a plan B cooking away, but I hope it's neither of these two names #lufc
11.09.2025 09:31 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0Considering the need to provide content to fill the vast space of 24-hour new channels, you'd think there'd be plenty of room for deeper, more intelligent, discussion programmes like Hardtalk.

02.09.2025 11:22 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0I don't mind Farke making mistakes as long as he learns from them, which he seems to have done. If we can get a point at Fulham, I'll be happy (and surprised).
02.09.2025 09:25 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0Although the midfield picked itself thanks to injuries
02.09.2025 09:23 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0What worried me was that Farke didn't seem to see that Longstaff and Nmecha were more obvious choices for the Arsenal game when we were unlikely to have much possession and needed experience and clout in midfield - what encourages me is that's who he selected for Newcastle #LUFC
02.09.2025 09:22 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 2 📌 0Maybe we need a kind of Assistant Referee with Video (ARV) who can call out the Video Assistant Referee every time they make a clear and obvious error - which is often.
31.08.2025 14:08 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0Agree, it's as good as we could have hoped it terms of points, but the lack of goals highlights where the gaps are - and, for me, it's mainly in that final ball, or final third pass.
31.08.2025 06:18 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0I'm beginning to think that the priority for players in early round cup games is to avoid injury more than it is to win games - it would explain the half-hearted zero-risk approach.

30.08.2025 14:26 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0Good decision on the Man U penalty shout v Kyle Walker (although oddly Bruno Fernandes is complaining about it, most out of character) and I like the refs explaining the decision.
30.08.2025 14:22 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0That disallowed goal shows the way VAR is used is the problem - nitpicking "careless tackles" that the ref didn't think was a foul at the time (although it probably was) is not the problem VAR was supposed to solve.
30.08.2025 12:19 — 👍 2 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0I don't really care about any football teams other than #lufc, but sport is always more fun when you take sides, so as I've always preferred Fulham over moneybags kleptocrats Chelski, I shall support the Cottagers today.
30.08.2025 11:35 — 👍 2 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 049ers windows have been sensible and smart, I reckon, but the jury's still out on this one. I think it's been decent except we lack a game-changing creative player, and I worry about the goalkeeper because Perri's not looking up to it yet - hopefully he will, but it's a concern.
30.08.2025 11:08 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0Not sure I'd agree, I think we've been tactically naïve under Farke. We got away with it because we had a much better squad, but I worry that Farke has the tactical touch for the Prem - Everton suggested maybe he did, but the two games since reveal he doesn't - only my opinion, and it's early days.
30.08.2025 11:05 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0I find he can be unwilling to analyse a little deeper, he seems to be more concerned with keeping it moving and entertaining - which he does well, but sometimes the balance needs to swing toward depth, not always towards levity.
30.08.2025 10:28 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 2 📌 0We know this tactic well, it's failed us before, we cannot break down defensive teams by carefully passing the ball from side to side for 70 mins before we let Bogle run at the them. As much as we blame the lacklustre performances of the players, I think the true culprit is Farke #lufc
30.08.2025 09:33 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0... the Championship's top scorer is not suddenly not good enough to score against a poor Championship team's reserve youth team - the issue is somewhere else. Was it Farke saying play it safe, no risks, avoid injury, do the right things and we'll be fine? I suspect so #lufc
30.08.2025 09:29 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 2 📌 0Was just listening to The Square Ball discussing the Sheffield Wednesday game and Michael asked a great question "why were players like Piroe and Aaronson not game changers?" Unfortunately Dan, as he often does, swatted it aside with "they're not good enough" but.. #lufc
30.08.2025 09:26 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0The more I think about that Sheffield Wednesday game, the more annoyed I am. So little risk or urgency, such pedestrian tactics, it is just so disappointing #lufc

27.08.2025 10:49 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0That's exactly it - and I hope that's the last we see of that bloody third kit, it clearly doesn't work.
