Does anything else appeal? Speciality coffee, kombucha, kefir, etc? Continuing cycle of replacement.

Makes sense, if a restaurant can reuse an ingredient they usually will.

What the trade calls what you're probably after is 'city cars' - eg www.whatcar.com/best/best-us... (prices vary a lot if older than the years they mention, but gives idea of handling and reliability of brands).

It’s so funny to think about the fact that there’s people out there deferring every life decision to this

TBF I did enjoy Pretenders, Action Masters, Micromasters etc but it took getting past some particularly ropey looking movie toy designs to do that, even when the same characters were great on screen or in the comics.

As an adult, I like most stuff. As a kid, I liked the film plus original toys plus comic plus later toys, and the most important point there is I didn't get the movie or HM/TM toys, which isn't what a toy company wants if enough people have that reaction. Did get the CH reissue of Springer later.

If anything, I'd say more success, fewer alienated parents and S3 is less of a downturn + less of a pivot away from the realistic toys. Diecast and collectable toy cars was fairly important to the line because adults could relate to it.

TFs did get a film inspired by Star Wars with a full OST and celeb voice actors. Over here it added a voiceover about Prime coming back, plus we got Classic Hero reissues, G1.5, more comics, etc without much movie influence.

Hoping we see one incorporating a Mechanical Skull kit KO at some point, like happened with previous Megs KOs and upgrade kits.

Since #bbclaurak is trending, let’s remind ourselves that ONE MONTH ago, the BBC invited Mandelson on for a soft-ball interview on her show. While HIS CLIENT , Palantir’s Louis Moseley appeared as a pundit

Both, as I wrote at time, were β€˜abject failures of journalism’

It's healthier but probably connected with digestion and less alcohol in system affecting temperature response. The back of an envelope calc figures are about 3500 calories in a pound and about 200 in a beer plus harder to define stuff like genetics and deficit conditions being right.

Barring conviction, I'd be surprised if Mandelson wasn't returned from being persona non grata inside about five years. Reams of evidence on voting history, bribes, tax dodging, penalties, meeting with hostile foreign governments, etc, haven't kept out the rest, either. Be nice to see different.

I was not going to use instagram anymore but seriously, I need to promote myself more especially my online shop, so I restart it unwillingly.

for survival, I have to do anything what I can do.

Guessing there's a lot similar I'd never recognise. The overt references (ancestral home, ponies, gummi bears, RR etc) were fab, let alone the subtle ones for people who've been fans for decades. Despite losing the freshness a bit with recurrent background stuff in the last series, it's magnificent.

Also he's pretty worst of the worst himself, so sympathy is nonexistent. Haven't been keeping up, but expecting most political parties to be likewise at best a step or two removed from the whole thing.

Calls to halt UK Palantir contracts grow amid β€˜lack of transparency’ over deals Opposition MPs urge Labour to pause public contracts with the US tech firm after attempts to examine deals blocked

Pressure building on govt to come clean about Mandelson's role in bringing US spy-tech firm Palantir into the heart of our NHS.

The fingerprints of Mandelson and his lobbying firm are all over these deals.

The rot goes to the heart of this Labour govt

I think the big problem is that we’ve been taught that you’re supposed to somehow balance staying informed with being mentally stable right now, and I am here to tell you that’s wrong, you’re all supposed to be losing your goddamn minds right now, so good news everyone you’re doing great

Yeah, coming at it from a different direction but moved the Takara one + Godbomber on because the Hasbro one works better with a 3P Marvel style head, and is closer to the 'ideal' PM OP to me. Even on the original the cab robot is, personally, a superfluous extra to the truck mode and combined mode.

I think comic book action figures can be attributed to the coming together of tie in line competition and manufacturing being ready. Nintendo, yeah, always been about brand control.

Don't know if it was the same in the US but growing up Disney resisted home video releases for a long time, which was partly what drive piracy. Latterly they've been bad at completing sets even when they do them, e.g. Monty in the Rescue Rangers got skipped. Not sure if that one ever happened.

Still a remarkable number of popular shows and films that never got on the merch bandwagon in any meaningful way though, even after Star Wars and Reagan had lit a hand of glory. Maybe it was the sheer volume.
