I saw that in a single-screen theatre in the middle of nowhere Utah near the Nevada border. We’d been on a family vacation. My sister and I were dropped off by our parents while they went into Nevada to gamble. Sis and I were the only ones in the theatre. Had a blast, but that movie is not good.

I used to work for high volume school photography as a photographer, and the way our lighting was uniformly set up was awful for darker skin. We had to learn to adjust it with our own tricks. Then I worked behind the scenes, and I saw exactly what you’re saying and a common complaint by customers.
