Event report: 8 May 1945 and Russia's war against Ukraine - how can we commemorate the end of the war today? 80 years after this war: a “dangerous battle for memory” is ongoing. MHC historians took part in a World War II commemoration event, one of more than a hundred that took place in Berlin in May.

New "places of remembrance” (for WW2/Nazi terror/Holocaust victims) in the very center of Berlin.
A provisional "Stone of Remembrance" for the victims in Poland has been put in place this spring (photos). Now, the Ukrainian community is following with its own proposal. www.lmu.de/mhz/en/lates...
