They gerrymandered for five seats but I'd be surprised if they got all five in 2026. The closer you slice and dice, the less margin of error you have. The flip side is that the districts will be more conservative in general, so any Democrat wins could be difficult to hold in 2028 and 2030.

If Johnson really averted his eyes from that debacle, that's a dereliction of duty worthy of his own removal from office.
