just saw the long walk and i have no idea how anyone could've watched that whilst walking on a treadmill because i was in floods of tears for probably an hour of it.

not being fully a girl aside, i am honoured.

genuinely so excited to see Scott Pilgrim at the cinema tonight!! particularly looking forward to seeing the music sequence on the big screen.

so the plan is to see Him and one battle after another on thursday.

was planning on seeing one battle after another this afternoon but instead covering my co-worker's shift since she's ill. the good thing about it is that my co-worker is gonna do my thursday morning shift, which means i don't have to get the 8am bus or be in for the area manager visit.

whenever i actually work hard at my minimum wage retail job that doesn't deserve my efforts, i can't help but think 'wow, i'm just like applejack fr'.

finally got a lanyard at work so i'm looking on etsy for some pins to decorate it with.

i'm out until like 10pm tonight (all-day shift and then the cinema after) so i'm gonna have to ration my phone battery like i'm in five nights at freddy's. i brought a book with me and i have my cd player so i should be good for phone-free entertainment.

forgot my wallet so let's hope i don't need to use my card or cash.

the thought of the 8am bus is worse than the thought of the 9-6 work day because i fucking hate those damn teenagers who have no concept of other people. not to be an old man yelling at a cloud or anything. also this isn't any of their faults but there's so many of them. why so many...

i still haven't watched one battle after another yet since i was pretty busy this past week. but i'm aiming to see it this week. and possibly Him and the long walk.

question for #craftsky!! specifically anyone who does latch hook. i've been using kits but i'd love to try making things with my own designs. but, i don't know how to go about creating custom designs/patterns to follow. i probably would want to avoid having to paint on the canvas. any suggestions??

this lady was mad that we wouldn't let her grandson use our staff toilet becauee he got ink from one of our pens on his hands but like it's a health and safety thing and neither of us are management so we didn't want to risk anything. and she was like 'i'm never coming back here again' LIKE I CARE

i watched 10 cloverfield lane last night and now i wanna get a bob like mary elizabeth winstead has in the movie, maybe sans the bangs because i don't see myself pulling those off.

i think i'm just worried about the act of having to come out. i wouldn't know how to go about it. and like since i use they/he/she pronouns and i still use my feminine birth name irl i'd feel weird about expressing that. so part of me feels like i should just ask them to use 'they/them' for me.

but also it sucks having that weird limbo feeling of being queer and around queer people but feeling invisible because i'm closeted. like i think they know i'm queer (i don't feel the need to tell them i'm ace/arospec/queer unless it comes up).

it feels like i've left it too late to say anything since i've worked there for almost a year. i've been out to my friends since 2022(?) so it's not like this is a new thing. and like i am having that imposter syndrome thing of 'what if they don't believe me'.

also i don't know if i want to come out at work and ask them to use my preferred pronouns and not refer to me as a woman. it'd be safe to because one of my co-workers is trans and everyone correctly genders his nonbinary partner who works for our company at another store.

and like that's something i need to work through because no healthy person has imposter syndrome based around their hobbies.

for me it feels like i neglect some hobbies in favour of others, then my imposter syndrome kicks in of 'i haven't done this in a while; it must mean it's not even something i like anymore and i've lost a part of myself'.

i see what i've convinced myself is so many people irl and online who seem to be able to keep up with the vast number of things they like doing.
