This is such great news. The Festival of Nations is coming back (with a new name). I have such fond memories of field trips to it as a kid. When I moved to St. Paul 21 years ago, it became an annual tradition.

Got the jerk chicken bowl (with extra sauce) from the concession, because I wanted something that *felt* vaguely nutritious relative to hot dogs and nachos. Not $25 good (that’s including tax/tip), but better than I expected.

I made sure to stop and say good luck to DeWayne Davis and Omar Fateh, who are both running for mayor.

Both of them remember who I am, and greet me happily.

I've interacted with Frey a dozen different times over the years, and he has never once greeted me by name/with recognition of who I am.

Davis is my #1, but the most important thing to do is rank these 3 candidates (and not Frey)

Minneapolis Times, promoted by conservative DFLers, has an article up critiquing the minimum wage. I don’t know what to say other than if you think $15 an hour in 2025 is too high and that poor people making more is the cause of inflation, you’re a Republican and should leave the DFL.

I love that he calls out our current mayor for refusing to engage in good faith, then hangs others out to dry as the “uncooperative” ones. We deserve a mayor who works with (and for) everybody!
