It’s beyond insane that the BBC World Service might end in 7 weeks when its funding runs out. A beacon of information, education and UK soft power - Ministers would be crazy not to find money to support it

Nice. I don’t think anyone I knew had even heard of them. And it wasn’t really party music. So it was my little secret pleasure! Same for Counting Crows’ ‘August And Everything After’. Until I met my future husband, who also had a copy!

I’d never heard of them before Hats, but read a 5* review in Q and felt compelled to buy it. I bought AWATR on the strength of Hats and was not disappointed.

Hats was the one for me.

It would be nice. (Wigmore Street/Mortimer Street is a relatively pleasant convenient alternative and the window shopping is much, much better.)

Why? It’s so handy when your programme is shown while you’re out/cooking/sleeping. For sport it’s great. Spouse watches 5 hours of MotoGP racing - why waste a sunny Sunday in front of the telly when you can watch it in bites over the week in the evenings?

Here’s one: being sent by my GP to have an ultrasound 5 miles away, even though my GP surgery has its own ultrasound dept, which it seems only patients from *other* GP surgeries can use. The marketisation of the NHS is not efficient for patients!
