Exactly. This is functionally a list of who Microsoft and others would like to try to replace. It doesn't mean it will work.

The ones most likely to be replaced are jobs like my own, developers. Where generative AI is just an elaborate pattern-matching machine, that works for coding.

I know it sounds silly, but @pewpewbang.bsky.social was conceived as a response to the absolute fury and hopelessness we felt late last year.
We wanted to be unapologetically weird, fun, loud women, and create somewhere other people who needed an escape from The Horrors could laugh & have some fun.

Truly, I would hate living further out than I do. I can be at 3 different train stations into Boston within 30 minutes. I can drive to 2 smaller cities within 30 minutes. There's even a regional bus (though we need more)!

Within town, I can walk to a grocery store, brewery, restaurant all in 1mi.
