When it stole literally all of Stack Overflow, it stole tons and tons of people's explanations of how to make a program that produces random character strings.
One of the easiest ways to do so, contains *this* ASCII string.

18.07.2025 19:19 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Header text: "HEY YOU! YES YOU! TAKE THIS SHIT OUT OF LINKS!" This is followed by a couple example urls, with a red square highlighting the sections with source identifiers. The rest of the text is as follows: Source identifiers are used to track your activity on a site. Where you came from, what device you use, and even who you talk to. Whether it's written clearly in the url or tied to a random string of characters, it's assigned to your activity. When you send a link containing a source identifier to somebody and they click it, it signals to the website that you two are connected. And that data goes right back to the website operators, and thus their advertisers. Whenever you select "share" or "copy link" on a social app or website, it creates a link like this. If you give even the smallest shit about online privacy, it's important to remove them. Everything after the "?" symbol can be removed without issue, especially sections starting with "si=" or "utm_source="
I saw an infographic a couple years ago about how to remove source identifiers from links and why it's important, but I can't find it again and too many people I know are sending me links with them so here's an infographic straight from the oven

But apparently, you canβt end a sentence with a proposition.
We do need higher bills.
But not to make an appallingly run company "financeable and investable".
Let them go bust, impose a large haircut on bondholders, and use bill payers money for sewers not dividends/bond repayments.

TO THOSE WHO FIND THIS NOTE IF YOU HAVE FOUND THIS NOTE YOU MUST BE ENGAGED IN DEMOLISHING ONE OF THE FALSE COLUMNS THAT HAVE BEEN PLACED IN THE FOYER OF THE SAINSBURY WING OF THE NATIONAL GALLERY. I BELIEVE THAT THE FALSE COLUMNS ARE A MISTAKE OF THE ARCHITECT AND THAT WE WOULD LIVE TO REGRET OUR ACCEPTING THIS DETAIL OF HIS DESIGN. LET IT BE KNOWN THAT ONE OF THE DONORS OF THIS BUILDING IS ABSOLUTELY DELIGHTED THAT YOUR GENERATION HAS DECIDED TO DISPENSE WITH THE UNNECESSARY COLUMNS.
The National Gallery in London is renovating its Sainsbury Wing and theyβve just found a secret letter from one of the original donors, sunk into a concrete column, saying that he hates the columns and is glad theyβre being demolished.
