So, since I was last posting, I had my left big toe amputated, a femoral-to-femoral bypass, the month of September entirely in hospital, and the same great troubles with emotional equilibrium in the face of fascism that so many of us are having.

I'm still here on earth.

Infection has grown somewhat larger and is affecting lower leg, but is being monitored closely at home.

Was infected. Stayed in ER for 9 hours. Followed with podiatrist visit a couple of days later. I have a quarter-sized wound on my left big toe that needs to be watched closely, and hopefully heal.

On the bright side, the nerve pinch/muscle agony finally went away.

But now I'm off to hospital for possible leg and toe infection, since I'm diabetic. Meh. Should be home in a few hours, he said, trusting he's not jinxing himself.

Finally healing, so getting back here is at least visible as light at the end of tunnel now.
