I'll always remember an episode of Look North when the reporter asked a Grimsby fisherman why he was so confident Brexit would be a "sea of opportunities", reply.. "I would trust Boris with my life". He's never been heard of since.

To be wholly fair it's a bit ambiguous here as well, the flu jab is free and the COVID jab is free on request apparently, I'll know on Tuesday. But Β£90 really.

Β£90? How do they justify that? Here in France it is free for vulnerable people, diabetics, the immunosuppressed the over 65s and for the rest it's between 7 and ten euros. Surely, it's in all our interests that as many people as possible get vaccinated.
God help us when the next pandemic hits.

Gestures vaguely at 2025 , we're all that sheep now.

Farage reminded of claim β€˜Remain vote would be end of British steel industry’ A three-year-old tweet came back to haunt Nigel Farage on the day of British Steel's collapse into liquidation, as opponents reminded him of his prediction that a Remain referendum win would kill off ...

This Farage?

Yesterday, the US Ambassador in Oslo sought assurance that I would be awarded the Nobel Peace Prize.
Sadly, the US has received no such assurance from the Nobel committee.
It is my solemn duty to inform you that we are now at war with Norway.

Surely this is not real, but then again it's not the looniest thing I've seen this year.

I'll bet most of the candidates are hiding under a table muttering 'please don't pick me, please not me'.

In a world of toadies and sycophants, at least the Nobel committee can hold their heads up. The test of the world seems to have totally capitulated.

He probably thinks Norway is a Democrat state.

Farage-
In the April 2016 tweet, the Brexit Party leader wrote: "If we vote to Remain on June 23rd it is the end of the steel industry in this country. Simple as that. We must Leave EU."

Surely a man of peace will accept the decision of the independent Noble committee with good grace and congratulate the winner. Trump, on the other hand.

He's using the military to invade US cities, sumeraly executing people in international waters, pressured Ukraine to capitulate whilst kowtowing to Putin and threatened to invade NATO allies, on the other hand Netanyahou might stop bombing what's left of Gaza, so, swings and roundabouts I suppose.

"no provision for expulsion"...yet. Anyway, all Orban cares about is the money that flows from the EU is greater than the money that flows from the Kremlin and Kremlin money looks like it's drying up.

Yes and when we leave the ECHR there will be no problem with NI because we have alternative arrangements and Malthouse Compromises, both A and B, so there!

I would think it's highly likely if Farage's MAGA(UK) ever gets into power. Everything he says and does is copied from his orange hero.

Rudyard Kipling
"We never pay any-one Dane-geld,
No matter how trifling the cost;
For the end of that game is oppression and shame,
And the nation that plays it is lost!".

WOT? I live in France, next week I will have my sixth COVID vaccination, it will cost 0 Euros, yes I'm an old git, but if I wasn't it would be between 7.50€ and 9.60€.

Having followed Farage to the depths of his rabbit hole which has destroyed our party we'll start following Trump into his world of fascist insanity.
