Once again hoping for the TMNT game so good I can stop feeling like I have to make one for myself. [A feeling I’ve had for 30 years]

My first (and extremely numerous) game designs were *all TMNT* and only my poor brothers were forced to play them.

I only disagree with the assessment of the dice tower. I really like the thematic bit of dread/drama it adds to every roll & it’s engineered well for cardboard.
Beyond that I expect card sleeves and Etsy to fill the other production holes in short order.
The design work itself is simply his finest.

Removed and prosecuted seems like table stakes at this point.

I played the demo at PAX and it is utterly fantastic. @asmadigames.bsky.social is going to move sooooo many of these.

I was truly inspired and energized by the creativity of it all. I still need to play through the stack I picked up, but I think I’ll have to submit something myself for next year.

I *do* want to say I thought this was organized particularly well given the constraints. There wasn’t a free for all scrum happening and it was relatively easy to understand where to go. If you had one game on your list it was apparent how to get it and how likely you would.

There was some bunching at each table caused by a close crowd listening to a pitch and another part of it trying to determine how to complete a purchase transaction and exit the table’s line.
I’d have left/pitch, right/purchase as a standard to reduce the chaos a bit and add a cashier to each table.

The designer names on the rail ends was good, but I kept needing to consult the website to remember which game(s) each was responsible for. Adding the game title to the card would help.
Further details (player count, playtime, etc) would be nice, but an extravagance that few would appreciate.

I’m (hopefully still) going to PAX Unplugged in Philadelphia next week, but my hotel reservation was through Sonder. I no longer have a place to stay and prices are absolutely ridiculous now.
