I'm picturing Izzy as Ed's parrot and Buttons is the seagull that hangs out at Stede's cause he feeds him and about 20 other seagulls. I miss #OFMD tremendously. I got too sick to participate in the fandom just as I was starting to write for it. Now that I'm a bit healthier and can interact a bit, I know I've missed out on so much. Time for my comfort fics (Cheerleader Stede fics, hell yeah!).🖤💀

Fun fact: you can read smutty #OFMD fanfictin anywhere. After prepping me for brain surgery, my nursed asked what I was reading. First time I've ever traded fic recommendations out in the wild, nevermind right before a surgery. Stede and Ed are everywhere, even in the OR.

Having a brain disease is insanily isolating. People disappear on you as you struggle to communicate with a broken brain. The longer you're sick, the more you lose of your life until there's nothing and no one but you and the cats. When all you can do is read, thank fuck for #OFMD fanfictin. 🖤💀

Over a year ago, I got very sick. I had slowly been getting sick for two years until one day, my brain couldn't manage it anymore and I collapsed. I had to relearn how to walk and talk again. I nearly lost my vision and had brain surgery. The old me is dead. Long live the new chronically ill me. 🖤💀
