We are the meat machines employed at Soft Machine Inc . The only thing we got in common with actual machines is we don't get paid enough. You can call us Dave

I don't know what's sadder, your bootlicking, the fact that you're treating a chatbot like a real person, or the fact that the way you've decided to treat this chatbot like a real girl is by being a tryhard.

I'm so so excited to see this released to the public! A lot of hard work went into this, so check it out if you have a chance. It's an amazing resource and I hope it's able to help as many people as possible!

And then the god starts reluctantly recruiting Paladins to send after this guy because the guy just *won't die*

Ok that actually sounds like a really fun idea.
A Paladin whose entire character arc is that they're sworn to a god that doesn't want them around and she keeps sending clerics and plagues and smitings to get rid of them

Look as long as I can be a Paladin of Chaos it's fine by me other Paladins are nerds.

Painting of Socrates' death, Socrates labeled as "me being right", the person he's arguing towards labeled "you losing the debate", the people behind them to the right labeled as "the poor fuckers whose mentions we shit up", the person handing Socrates the poison labeled "some mf sick of the debate trying to poison me", the depressed looking guy to the left of the bed(?) Socrates is sitting on lebeled "dude contemplating deleting his account", the person in the tunnel on the left side leaning his face against the wall labeled "someone yelling shut uuupp" and the people at the end of the tunnel leaving up the stairs labeled "losers who muted the convo"

Not The Onion:

"β€œRachel and I aren’t even in the same building in the physical world, but it feels like we’re in the same place and can make eye contact,” he added before he and Rachel high-fived within the virtual space with the sombre scenes of Puerto Rican devastation around them."

No Politics, No News, No activism (because politics), No sex work or nsfw (because instagram) and no art or queer stuff (because nsfw restrictions always end up restricting artists and the gays)
Exactly what communities are going to be using this thing?

Your sentiment is cool and valid I just hate the fact that I'm being bamboozled by this specific account

I think that account is doing a very weird shitpost. The person Katie Notopoulos is a buzzfeed journalist and I can't find anything affiliating her with threads other than their say so. Their account does a lot of threads shilling but the posts have a very deliberate tone of cringe.

It's sad that "first they came" apparently needs the last line for people to take it in stride (sometimes not even that) but alas

Again:

We fight alongside people who are most impacted by harm because they are *people.* even if the harm they experience doesn’t spread or impact anyone else.

Even if the harmdoers are never coming for me.

A more free world is one in which we all show up because people are at risk. Any people.

Addendum to the previous hit skeet about using the power of posting ass to cleanse social media of fascism:

Goes without saying that without ass posting social media is nothing.
It eventually becomes the entire reason why anyone gets on these sites

Having read Rufus and Frost's escapades for like a year and knowing that Frost is just two treats short of commiting homicide on any given day, this character background was quite plausible lol

"Tony Evers uses veto powers to extend annual increases for public schools for the next four centuries Molly Beck Jessie Opoien Milwaukee Journal Sentinel "

Evers crafted the four-century school aid extension by striking a hyphen and a "20" from a reference to the 2024-25 school year. The increase of $325 per student is the highest single-year increase in revenue limits in state history.

Gov. Tony Evers vetoed the words and numbers in red, creating a $325-per-student increase in school funding each year until 2425.
The veto was one of more than four dozen the Democratic governor made to reshape the $99 billion two-year state budget Republicans passed last week. Among the vetoes was the majority of the centerpiece of Republican lawmakers' budget plan: a $3.5 billion tax cut that focused relief for the state's wealthiest residents.
