Fantastic #WestMidsAllDayer at Grimley y'day. A day where it felt like anything could drop in at any time. And it did! Knot, Spotted Redshank, 2 Little Gulls, Whinchat, Wheatear, 4+ Spotfly provided one of the best days birding at the site in years. Brilliant company. Great day #WorcsBirds

Another highlight of the #WestMidsAlldayer at Grimley (Worcs) yesterday, the two juvenile Little Gulls. Fantastic views as they repeatedly did circuits of the main pool in the late afternoon gloom. #WorcsBirds #UkBirding

The weather may have been wet and gloomy, however, today was one of the best days of birding that I have had at Grimley for a number of years.

Highlights were Knot, Little Gull, Spotted Redshank, Black-tailed Godwit, Whinchat. #WorcsBirds #WestMidsAllDayer

Today was too early for Grimley to truly shine on the Autumn passage. Next Saturday it will really kick off. All sorts will drop in whinchat/tree pipit will be minor pickings 😂😂
