That’s 70 broken links on a website just because my workplace has switched to OneDrive. Guess I’ll know better next time but what is it with this utter rubbish we’re having to live with now? Every single thing becoming pointlessly more useless and complicated.

I’d thought I’d downloaded the files to my laptop desktop but they were on the OneDrive desktop. Restoring them had skipped 70 files so those all broke on the website. I had to find the files and copy them to my actual desktop and re-upload them to fix the links.

Today in annoying tech stuff: a folder on OneDrive was showing me files that “didn’t exist” even though they were there, in the folder. The file names were “too long” so they had stopped existing. I’d downloaded a bunch of files to restore a website from a backup but some files “didn’t exist”.

They just used the expression “crumbing station” on Masterchef

The daft thing is that with Proportional Representation there'd be no need for this self-destructive war within Labour. It could split into its component parts - left and right - and people could vote for what they wanted. It's only First-Past-the-Post that forces these irreconcilables together.
