A wonderful book, this:

A wonderful book, this:
08.02.2026 18:49 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0At least once a week pre-baby, less often after that
06.02.2026 09:22 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I enjoyed Of Mice and Men when I was taught it at school π₯²
05.02.2026 21:55 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0He fundamentally understands that the path to influence hangs on broadcast media, so puts all his focus on that. Maddeningly few leftwing figures seem to understand this.
20.01.2026 11:28 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0He was a monster in many ways, but Churchill's staunch "do not appease the Nazis" policy is arguably relevant here.
15.01.2026 09:07 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0They really hate each other
13.01.2026 08:34 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I reckon over the past decade I have been sexually harassed ten times more often inside the Palace of Westminster than I have on London streets
07.01.2026 11:21 β π 239 π 88 π¬ 12 π 2At 36, and so presumably one of the youngest people watching it (I've just had a baby), having the youngest acts aimed at my generation seems about right to me
01.01.2026 01:00 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I think there is a (literally) silent majority who think it's weird to post your opinions every day
30.12.2025 10:08 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0A bit problematic to lust after caged lady bears imo, and Paddington seems to be a good egg. We don't see it on screen, but when he's alone at night he could well be masturbating furiously.
23.12.2025 16:08 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0I would read as asexual if I was adopted by bears and only ever spent time in bear society
23.12.2025 14:15 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Oh fuck it's Deep Impact π¬
19.12.2025 08:42 β π 3 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0They are cheeky lads! Going out of their way to avoid giving things the gravitas they deserve is their whole deal!
17.12.2025 11:05 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Is this one of those things where a Californian tech company assumes you're driving everywhere rather than walking about with your phone in your pocket?
12.12.2025 09:31 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0This is 100% on purpose
11.12.2025 09:57 β π 3 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0A few cinemas near me (South London) do bring-your-baby screenings in the morning. Low volumes, babies welcome and your ticket comes with free cake.
07.12.2025 19:35 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Add it to scrambled eggs or mashed potatoes
03.12.2025 08:34 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I think you're right about really bad behaviour - the difference is even when Americans behave normally on their travels everyone in the vicinity can hear them being really American
02.12.2025 13:41 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I love that Sons of Kemet record so much
01.12.2025 20:48 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0This is it. I've not been calling for wholesale changes, just to try one glaringly obvious change at least once.
29.11.2025 11:24 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Sacking Brendan made sense because Klopp was available. Not sure what the equivalent would be here
26.11.2025 22:54 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0if microsoft just made outlook search not suck they'd see triple the productivity gains of any AI integration
14.11.2025 00:18 β π 1299 π 117 π¬ 55 π 15Nope :-(
13.11.2025 22:08 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0The "AI target" has got the headline, but the interesting bit is where they're matching schools with similar aspects to share best practice. I suspect that's the bit where AI is pulling it's weight
12.11.2025 09:21 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Yep
10.11.2025 08:41 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I run a polling station every election - it's clear to me that many adults are not prepared to vote (but I'm glad they're turning up anyway!) so I don't see why 16 year olds deserve all this scrutiny of their abilities
10.11.2025 08:29 β π 4 π 0 π¬ 2 π 0They're designed for the cold, with the assumption that you'll heat it all day
07.11.2025 13:16 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0It was so stark and so encouraging - have we only not being playing him there to fit in Gakpo?
04.11.2025 22:47 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Completely agree. I wasn't super upset about him leaving: I'm 36, I'm too long in the tooth. If I was there sure I'd be booing, with gusto! It's nearly panto season ffs
04.11.2025 21:50 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Given that when we talked about mixed gender adult children we always end up with an awkward construction like "grown-up children" or something I think it's just something English isn't currently equipped for. Maybe it's appropriate to refer to them as so-and-so's eldest/youngest?
