You can remote control the VS debugger from your favorite editor, set breakpoints, step, play, etc.

File explorer just shows files from the build folder.
Yeah it's nuts. now my "generated" slnx is just that, a path to the vcxproj in my source folder :-)
It's like the saying about 10x optimization vs 1.1x optimization. you stopped doing something stupid.
I tried out the new slnx format, and it's easier to generate from a custom buildsystem.
Requires a recent vs (just some weeks old).

Been using ark-vcs.com for a few weeks now. Not done anything advanced, not even branches. But it seems like a better version of Perforce.
Hopefully it gets more users and more active development.
I'm happy to not be using git for hobby stuff anymore.
