Ask yourself why it bothers you so. This world is hard. I am happy to give trigger warnings, use preferred pronouns, call out -isms, extend a hand to those in need, change and evolve with the times. It's minor effort for me. Why shouldn't I?

Not everyone processes emotions the same way. Some people never get over their trauma. Ever hear of shellshock, aka PTSD? Some soldiers never recover from the atrocities of war. Some people never recover from their rapes.

We are simply doing small kindnesses for the most vulnerable by giving TWs.

I didn't assume. I acknowledged that you may or may not have had serious trauma, which is why my comment is so wordy.

Well good for you for not ever having serious trauma. Or if you have, good for you for being able to process it, or compartmentalize it or whatever you do to make yourself a superior human being to the rest of us slows. Bravo.
