Honestly, for me, this feels like the final straw. I get it - Microsoft is there to make money blah blah, but this truly feels like Xbox is over. The Switch 2 already took the spot of the Series X in my setup. I've been using more Linux and MacOS too.

Good point, I just dont know whats going to happen when XBSX is selling under the XB1 and MS dont seem to be giving a good reason for anyone to pick a console up. I doubt I will be the next Xbox console even though I like my Series X for example, I mostly moved to PC.

I believe since the Xbox One they dont sell them at a loss anymore. But even so if they continue to downtrend on the console itself they will eventually not bother making one. MS stopped making plenty of devices prior to this, Zune, Windows Phone etc. They will end up like Sega IMO.

Gamepass is not a system seller though, if it was we MS would not be pushing the service model. Nothing wrong with getting an xbox for gamepass though. I just play them all on PC
