That's me officially signed up for an online course in game writing, excited to start learning. It's been a while since I did anything academic.

I'll be trying again with getting into the swing of writing over the next couple of weeks. It's holiday time. I've tentatively eased back in with some fanfics, and I'm looking at taking up a course in video game writing. But primarily it's time to knuckle down on #StrangeSpace 🪐⭐️ #WriteSky

Curious if anyone knows any writing discord servers? Just for the sake of being creative with others and focusing on getting those drafts done. If not, would anyone be interested if I set one up? #Writesky

The next few weeks bode well for me finally getting back into my writing. New manager is doing her best to make sure my shifts are more reasonable 👀 I'm excited to get back into the swing of things with book two of #StrangeSpace. #WriteSky

Currently waiting to hear back from a job opportunity. Hopefully, if I get it, I can really focus in on #StrangeSpace Viral Agent's zero draft. The hours will be so much more manageable.

As well as this I'm also looking at working on an Arthurian Legend retelling--this would contain many, many short stories and novellas. It will be a long process getting it done, and I'll be working on it whenever I need breaks from Strange Space.

Just to update everyone on where things stand, I'm working on the second installation of the Strange Space series! Unfortunately I've spent the past month or so either working extra hours or sick, so I've not had a lot of time to sink into it. Hopefully this will start to smooth out after Christmas.

Whilst I work on the second #StrangeSpace story, I've decided to take on a massive project and start developing my Arthurian Legend retelling. It's a massive undertaking, but I intend to take a long time working on it. Trust that Mordred will finally get some good characterisation. #WriteSky

To follow up on my good news, I've also finished the basic plot outline for the next book in the #StrangeSpace series, and I'm considering working on another standalone novel in the meantime. Just not sure which of my many ideas I wanna explore 🤣

Work on the final draft is under way. Everything's going well for a September release, hopefully! There will be three versions of Shade of the Aitel available at first--kindle, paperback, and hardcover--but eventually I hope to release a dyslexia friendly, large font print as well. #WriteSky

If you haven't heard from me lately it's because I've been crumbling under burnout. That said, I should hopefully have feedback from my beta readers in the next few days so I can get on with edits. (In the meantime I may work on a Death Stranding fanfic, but you didn't hear that from me.)

The first big edit of Shade of the Aitel has been finished, and formatting all done! The copy is now in the hands of my beta readers, so I'll be working on the plot of my second entry of Strange Space in the meantime. #WriteSky #WritingCommunity
