You only get one shot, you must adapt and grow,
Selective pressure comes once in a lifetime, yo.

No. It was a billionaire property management company called Greystar.
There was a remix (from the show?) that was popular on tiktok a couple years ago too

07.09.2025 02:41 β π 8632 π 2475 π¬ 126 π 537NEW: Seattle has a rare Republican in office, its city attorney.
She championed a policy rolled out last year β when youβre so much as charged (not convicted) of a drug offense, a judge can ban you from setting foot in select areas, like downtown.
Sheβs also up for reelection in a few weeks:
Seattle has its own Zohran v Cuomo mayoral race going on: A young charismatic upstart who actually wants to make the city cooler vs an establishment dinosaur who once pulled a gun on a pregnant woman in a road rage incident.

The basic fact that dudes like this fail to understand is that driving a car has sooo many externalities. Pedestrian deaths. Air pollution. Noise. Water pollution from tires. Cyclists should be treated as saints and given every privilege.
15.07.2025 04:53 β π 4 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I suspect there is some disparity among the kinds of churches currently complying with IRS regs. Perhaps the party that believes in the legitimacy of taxes and the rule of law disproportionally benefits?

Thx to his legal team @Door_NYC he walked out of his ICE check-in today (unlike too many others).
The best of birthday presents to have been there to meet him. Amazing what a New Yorker heβs already becoming.
ICE is now changing tactics and arresting people who have been granted asylum hearings.
Β
This is both a violation of US & international law that demands immediate attention from all New York elected officials & underscores the urgent need for legal service providers to be at all of these cases.
Standing up against Donald Trump and Stephen Miller is essential to our freedom and safety and to the effort to hold corporate lawbreakers accountable.

23.06.2025 19:15 β π 3 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0"We are devastated and heartbroken at the loss of our parents, Melissa and Mark. They were the bright lights at the center of our lives, and we can't believe they are gone. Their love for us was boundless. We miss them so much. "We want everyone to know that we are both safe and with loved ones. We are grateful for the outpouring of love and support we have received, and we appreciate your respect for our family's privacy as we grieve. "Our family would like to thank law enforcement for their swift action that saved others and for the coordination across communities that led to the arrest of the man who murdered our parents. We especially would like to thank the officers who were first on the scene to our parents' home and their heroic attempts to rescue our mom and dad. "Our parents touched so many lives, and they leave behind an incredible legacy of dedication to their community that will live on in us, their friends, their colleagues and co-workers, and every single person who knew and loved them. "If you would like to honor the memory of Mark and Melissa, please consider the following: β’ Plant a tree. β’ Visit a local park and make use of their amenities, especially a bike trail. β’ Pet a dog. A golden retriever is ideal, but any will do. β’ Tell your loved ones a cheesy dad joke and laugh about it. β’ Bake something β bread for Mark or a cake for Melissa, and share it with someone. β’ Try a new hobby and enjoy learning something. β’ Stand up for what you believe in, especially if that thing is justice and peace. "Hope and resilience are the enemy of fear. Our parents lived their lives with immense dedication to their fellow humans. This tragedy must become a moment for us to come together. Hold your loved ones a little closer. Love your neighbors. Treat each other with kindness and respect. The best way to honor our parents' memory is to do something, whether big or small, to make our community just a little better for someone else."
Please read and share this statement from Sophie and Colin Hortman, children of Rep. Melissa Hortman and her husband Mark.

That's ~13% of all US crop land already used for energy production.
Using some of the same land for solar panels would capture 50-100 times more energy per acre.
