A small square of perfboard. Mounted on it are an ESP32S3 microcontroller board, a U-Blox GPS module (with antenna), 6 N-channel FETs, 2 RGB LEDs, and 2 47-ohm resistors. The bottom (not seen here) is a small rat's nest of wire wrapped connections.

The cat's name is Molly, and she doesn't care that I would like her to move so I can return the items that are normally stored there.

It's a beautiful full moon in October in #Minneapolis.
Too bad it's 81 fucking degrees at 9 pm. What the actual?
Let's sum up the first 2 innings in Milwaukee.
Brewers:
20 hitters came to bat
14 of them reached base
9 runs
3 hits by Jackson Chourio in 2 innings
Cubs:
2 guys in their lineup haven't even gotten an AB yet!
It's the most Brewers game ever
The inside of a car. Visible is a System76 computer, a USB cable connected to an ESP32 dev board. That board and an antenna are Scotch-taped to the vehicle's windshield.

My foot, sheathed in a beat up steel toe boot, next to an axe. There's the start of a split wood pile nearby.
Hey, what's up with that old pair of steel toes?
Have you seen me swing an axe?
(I'm at home now, that's why I can calmly compose this skeet)
What do you do, fam? There are plenty of signs stating no using a phone as a phone in the gym, please go to the lobby to make or take calls.
Anyway. People, amirite? Or am I the aberration with no headphones or buds?
At the gym raw-dogging the rowing machine (no phone, no music, no earbuds; just rowing along with my thoughts), when a jagoff behind me starts loudly talking into his phone. His phone that's on speaker.
Not even pretending to be using that elliptical; just leaning on it, hollering into his phone.
A messy work desk with a tangle is wires and cables. In that nest are various hardware tools. It's truly a mess.
How much hardware does one need to read the code out of an MCU if the "proper" programmer isn't available?
Well, so far I've got a @buspirate.bsky.social, a Saleae, an Arduino, some perfboard, & way too many cables π€£
