Andrew Mountbatten Windsor slumps in the back seat of a car as another man drives. The former prince looks … not good. Also, he has red-eye and you can see all the way up his nose.

For no reason whatsoever, I am reminded of the scene from The Crown where the Queen and Prince Philip talk about their children and she claims she doesn’t have a favourite, but Philip implies it’s Andrew. So she asks Philip who HIS favourite is and he immediately says “Anne.”

Ughhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

If you judge people on the “lies less than Elon” curve, then everybody looks like the ultimate truth teller.

That clip was bad and whoever made it should feel bad. I saw it and thought “looks like shit.” Flat effects, bland fight choreography, zero cinematic presence. If film companies choose to make AI movies, they should be very prepared for human audiences to nope out even more than they are now.

He had great advice: “Try to make this job about the money and you’ll be nothing but miserable. Cause we don’t get the money.”

And one of the film’s best one-liners: “Bernie! C’mon with the smoke! You know the doctor found nicotine in my urine again?”

“Then keep your dick outta my ashtray.”

Duvall elevated everything, never phoned it in.

One of my favourites of his is Ron Howard’s The Paper. He played the paper’s editor, Bernie, as human and sympathetic, while also being slightly above the fray of the hi-jinx in the newsroom and he made it look easy.

Gonna rewatch it tonight.

I had a huge crush on Robert Duvall circa The Godfather movies. Somebody once told me that was “wrong.” I remember being like, “What, you mean… morally?” The man was very handsome.

All’s I’m saying is, if they keep this all-star game format next year and SGA is playing, it’s over for you yanks.

So I assume we owe the Muppet Show special (and hopeful return) to Seth Rogen getting high and being like “You know what would be cool?” And he was correct! It was great and exactly what I needed after a pretty horrible week! More! More!
