This picture of Jedi and a tiny female zebra jumping spider is one of my recent favourites.

The spider did a little threat display - they stand tall and put their abdomen up - when Jedi moved, then settled and tried to hide under her leg.

Thanks. Wasn’t anything terribly controversial but I think it’s important people understand that it’s not the fault of those people coming in with lower acuity issues that the emergency department is full.

In our three sisters garden, the beans have decided to tie everything together. Here is one of the purple pole beans that grew about 60cm over to gently grab one of the pumpkin leaves.

Rhys is doing the most little brother thing ever and chasing Charlie and Maisie around with a huge beetle he found in the garden.

It’s hot. Our heat pump (which does the A/C) is still pooched despite a second board being replaced.

Im speaking to the use of the term on social media, and I was describing how paternalistic traditions define women’s worth.

The “tradwife” label as it is used generally on social media is heavily tied in with paternalistic traditions, typically religious, which define a woman’s value by her adherence to ‘traditional’ roles and behaviour expectations.

Very easy and delicious. I used dark sweet cherries instead of the sour cherries from my tree, as that’s what the recipe calls for, but I suspect it’d have been really nice with sour cherries and some lemon zest.
