Would you really want to go to this country to support your soccer team next year? The USA is rapidly descending into a fucked up rogue state.
Boycott the 2026 World Cup.

Coder, musician and (maybe - one day), author. But that doesn't mean I want to see pointless/boring posts about archaic computers; favourite books; or opinions about who was the greatest guitarist of all time. So stop it!
Would you really want to go to this country to support your soccer team next year? The USA is rapidly descending into a fucked up rogue state.
Boycott the 2026 World Cup.
And England should insist all their matches are played in Canada/Mexico, or boycott the World Cup. Because FIFA have embarrassed the world of football with their pathetic grovelling "Peace Prize".
The other Home Nations, who defo have the balls to do it, get a free pass. They don't get to go often.
The UK needs to follow the lead of Ireland, Spain, the Netherlands and Slovenia, and boycott the 2026 Eurovision Song Contest.
Huge respect to the four countries that have the moral backbone to say: "No. Fuck you. We don't want to be associated with a genocidal, rogue state.
Your reminder that political spending isn't regulated or recorded outside an election year

I'm pretty sure it's not a war-crime, if you're not at war.
Murder seems to be more accurate. And that's all of those killed. Not just the two.
Jesus fucking Christ! If mega-corporations aren't bank-rolling governments, (including the current UK Labour Government), to get the policies they want, they're suing them, behind closed doors, for ยฃbillions.
This is a must read.
I've only been to two plays:
- "Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead"
- "The Real Inspector Hound"
I then decided to quit whilst I was ahead. He was a genius.
Dear USA,
Yeah...! We were actually paying attention the first time round. Apparently, some of you guys weren't.
Here was our assessment back then:

Tricky Dicky, looking up from hell, in awe and admiration:
"Bollocks...! I was a complete fucking amateur."
Dear @dreampeace.bsky.social
That would not be possible. The current regime scraped the bottom of the barrel of decency, some time ago, and kept on digging. When they reached rat-infested sewers, they didn't pause for breath - they thought:
"Fuck everyone! Let's keep going. Go lower."
I have complained to the BBC several times - and then given up on them. But...
... mate. The Labour Party don't need an official opposition. They've got that covered. Constantly shooting themselves in the foot.

Not sure how many people will want to see this. Those of you already sick of Trump's criming on a daily basis, may want to give this a miss. But if you, really, want a "refresher", this YouTube video from @leagaleagle.bsky.social documents all his crimes. It's brilliant.

I've done the blurb for my debut novel. Let me know what you think... PLEASE!

I think the BBC has a big problem. It can't afford to do proper journalism any more. So when they get stuff handed to them on a plate, from lobbyists et al, they gobble it up.
26.11.2025 07:19 โ ๐ 2 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Have you tried telling the BBC? I have. I've complained several times about their platforming of racists, and how unbalanced their coverage is, based on seats in Parliament.
Their response: "We consider popularity an important factor."
Well, who the fuck is making them popular? The BBC.
OMG! Some great, hilarious, posts on here, re: Trump/Mamdani. I have, literally, been laughing out loud. And doing that annoying thing: reading them out to my wife. Don't worry. She's loving it too.
Keep them coming guys.
Book cover version 57!
Gone from "Nah, fonts aren't important" to obsessing over them for a week. Not there yet - as there are zillions to try - but here's my latest effort. Tell me what is "says to you".

Great summary on Democracy Docket.
Jonathan Pie, brilliant as ever.

Having said that, Starmer is the closest we've had to Chamberlain since... well, Chamberlain. So, who knows?
The UK Government also made sure Trump didn't get to see what the British public think of him this time.

You take up too much room
I agree with "biggest idiot", but "greatest... in history" is (maybe) using the wrong criteria. It's not all about wealth, GDP and armed forces. How about free health care for all?
And the Greeks, Romans, Ottomans, Spanish, Dutch, Portuguese & Brits would like a word about history. ๐
Why are the BBC not pointing out that the Prescott memo was itself, a misleading hatchet job? They need to up their game.
I should probably add: I'm no BBC fanboy. I barely ever watch the BBC and have complained to them several times, about their platforming of Farage/Reform.
You can read James Ball's report here:

This will probably come as no surprise... Michael Prescott, author, (and probably leaker), of the BBC Panorama memo - which resulted in two top execs resigning - hacked Trump's speech to make it look more favourable.
James Ball explains all to James O'Brien here:
