I will not be watching Bad Bunny's superbowl performance. I will not be watching TPUSA halftime performance with Kid Rock either. I will be at the re-scheduled Agriculture show. I just realized it's during the Super Bowl. I will be seeing the best halftime performance available.

For the people who saw my post about the program I wrote to track the AOTY, this is what it looks like. I hid the results, because some of my friends are on here and we didn't do the big reveal yet of the winner.

Parts wouldn't be exempt. I think it's just actal recorded music. But @purgatorymetal.bsky.social and I both got Panopticon album from Sweden. He got tariff bill from FedEx for like $7 and I got one for $0. Ordered same day from same distro, so who knows. Total shit show.

New Antrisch pre-order set me back $64.36. WTF is up with shipping? It's more than the price of the album. Could probably just get it at Fortress Fest, but honestly, rather pay shipping than carrying it all over England for a week. Will get other merch at the show though. #metalskyy

I have been programming professionally for over 30 years. But it is also a hobby. For things I want to do, like tracking favorite metal albums.

Nope. I made a SQL server database and then made a c# Windows app. They send me lists and I import them. I will post pics of my app tomorrow. Then I rewrote as a web app, but haven't finished it yet. I was playing with wpf too. I thought about scraping metal archives for genres and country.

I am a programmer and had the time over Covid. So my friends and I track our favorites and do a huge thing every year. I am actually working on it now. I have to track countries of origin for bands and genres and shit. I have charts and everything.

This is how I feel when I finally hang all my tshirts up after watching them sit in a pile for weeks.

I have created elaborate programs and databases to track my favorite metal albums every year, as a hobby. It also tracks my friends favorite albums with charts and reports. They don't understand passion for things. This is nothing when you believe in something.

You can't always plan for things. I have never been so close to popping off on a lady in a restaurant in my life. Bunch of blue hairs that don't understand common courtesy. They were literally the only customers in the place. I usually walk straight to pick up food w/ no wait.

Picked up a sandwich I ordered and walked in there was a group of 15 old ladies in line to pay. They were together and individually paid. I said, I have to get back to work, can I get my order? Lady goes, we do too. I said, I wasn't expecting a line, she goes, sometimes the unexpected happens. 1

They are playing later this month with Glassing. I was going for Glassing, but yeah, this is excellent, so now I'm excited for the whole show.

Can confirm this is a band to see live. In Philly, the day before my birthday. I suspect you will see me there!
