What surprised me wasn't the ranking -- that was fairly in-line with where I had expected it to be. It was the fact that I thought I was fairly "in the know" on these things, and yet had no idea about half the stuff these companies had done.

A very simple thing you can do is stop linking to the NYT.

I know they do some good reporting but they are also actively upholding facism and working to subvert democracy and shaping your world view.
