Crocheted a bag holder for a friend!

Hahah, same! I made the mistake of going in a Joanns on Friday having recently started crochet. I have no room to put all the yarn i bought 🙃

These earrings and a star bracelet arrived today! I was worried at how it would feel to pull the chain threw my piercings, but it had no issues, and the magnetic clasp for the (cat approved) bracelet makes putting it on/off super easy while still being strong! Thanks @peculiarityshop.bsky.social

Oh wow, this reminded me of a LOTR fanfic during that era which must have been reacting to that - "official fan fiction academy" or something similar where LOTR fanfic authors were basically isekai'd into the world for a bootcamp to learn canon from the characters. (yes, mary sues happened anyways)

I learned tonight during a retirement speech, that of all things, my dad has used a quote from Starlight Express as a way to approach life. He even choked up while quoting the song.
He would have seen the show 40 years ago in London, and "I Am the Starlight" struck that much of a chord.
