I’d be happy just taking a tablet that fulfills all dietary requirements when in a funk like this.

I bought a bag of carrots, a bag of celery and a bag of onions nearly two weeks ago specifically to chop up, bag, chuck in the freezer for soup making. The celery has turned to mush, the carrots are bendy and the onions are doing their best to survive - massive fail 🤦‍♀️

Ooh and in peppers! Maybe I wouldn’t die too soon

If I lived alone my fridge and freezer would basically only contain sourdough seeded bread, wholemeal pittas plus eggs, ham, peppers, coleslaw, cheese, butter and garlic. And a lot of cheese based mugshots. I’d die of scurvy.

Though my go to is usually cheese on toast/ham and cheese toastie with garlic butter. Or eggs. Or avocado on toast. Or a Mugshot 🙈

Though, a friend of mine has found somewhere local that does the meal preps boxes delivered weekly and costs less than buying and cooking same meals themselves. If they buy more it gets cheaper and then can be frozen too.

Do you think you’d be bothered making up a few freezer dump bags for the slow cooker on a lazy Sunday afternoon? If you made enough portions for each one, eat one and freeze the rest
