My great grandmother’s famous chocolate chocolate chip cookies turned out to be a Hersheys recipe.
My mother was so upset - I think she was really disappointed that GG didn’t have an entire R&D division creating the perfect cookie.

All of my father’s cousins (… and 2nd cousins) are aunt or uncle to my generation. And my generation calls each other cousin.
Also… my neighbor’s son calls me aunt. But i don’t think he does that intentionally.

My niblings get a $2 bill (US) per tooth. It makes it special because they don’t otherwise see $2 bills out in the wild.

At my last job I had coworkers - who were required to have a master’s degree - that were paid so little that they needed to use benefits.

I have been guilty of the “let me know” minimal effort in the past. I hope to do better in the future.

We recently had a medical event in our family - everything is fine, full recovery is eminent.
But I have come to understand the uselessness of offering “let me know if you need anything” when compared to just doing or offering something specific.
Don’t make me plan your kindness. I’m too busy.

I just want one day where my anxiety meds have the advantage over my anxiety.

I enjoy explaining this over, and over, and over to my mother.

I once got a rejection letter … 4 years later. I’d forgotten about the whole thing.

Also… its not great on the inside. Mostly atrium with little offices (along the outside) as I recall. Very dark.
Also, a little plane flew through the handles once.
