Mt Ossa juts vertically upward into the blue sky. The mass of rocks is part of a ridgeline that stretches across the mountain range, with a steep slope rising to it.

The ascent and descent of Mt Ossa, Tasmania's tallest mountain, were challenging due to the alpine sun, steep slopes, and the prior trek, but the breathtaking views made it all worthwhile.

A cluster of galaxies. Most of the visible galaxies are oval-shaped and smooth. A few have spiral arms in various orientations. The largest galaxy is directly in the center, and close by it are several images of background galaxies, stretched and warped into long arcs by gravitational lensing. The background is black and contains many very small galaxies, but no stars.

Amid a field of galaxies, a repeated, elongated red galaxy forms a shape like the top of a question mark, with another galaxy positioned like the question mark’s dot. In each occurrence, another white, clumpy galaxy with an overall circular shape appears perched on top of the red galaxy. A very bright foreground galaxy appears to the right of the bottom curve of the question mark shape. To the lower right, among other galaxies, another occurrence of the galaxy pair appears, unaffiliated with the question mark shape.

A small image of a galaxy appears as a dim blue ring. At the top of the ring are three very bright orange spots, right next to each other. These are copies of a single quasar in the galaxy. A fourth copy can be seen towards the bottom of the ring. In the center of the ring, there is a foreground elliptical galaxy with such powerful gravity that it is magnifying the other galaxy and its quasar. It appears as a small blue dot. The background of this image is black and empty.
