Agreed. This is one downside to having a big tent-style coalition. I definitely don’t agree politically with all of our volunteers! BUT Moms Demand Action is the largest grassroots organization in the country, and we didn’t get to 10 million volunteers by splitting hairs.

You’ll see Mpls Moms, myself included, on the doors for those council members. The bar for a GSC is low - basically, don’t be evil and oppose gun violence generically. 🙄 We’ll put our time & effort behind real change, and St Paul is a great example of what Frey SHOULD be doing. #dontrankfrey

And the Gun Sense Candidate non-endorsement is only on the honor system for first-time candidates. Most Mpls CMs are also Gun Sense Candidates, AND they - especially CMs Chavez, Koski, Ellison, and Chapman - back that up with their words and actions.
