For 7 years, Mayor Frey has lied. He lied about no-knock warrants and Amir Locke died. He lied and said there were only 27 unhoused people in the city—facts prove him wrong. He even vetoed the Uber/Lyft wage bill after vowing to support it. Minneapolis needs a leader, not a liar.

We cannot solve the problem of gun violence without addressing the prevalence, accessibility and lethality of the firearms themselves. While we need to find ways to reduce individuals' ability and desire to commit violent acts, we must also address the instruments of that violence: guns themselves.

Agreed. If you have a cabin or friends outstate, call your legislators there. They don’t care about Minneapolis, but they have to listen to their constituents.

Yes and no. If the call to action is sustained, this could lead to good laws in the special session. We’ll see some talk and zero action at the federal level.
