FACT SHEET: ICE Enforcement is Disrupting Minnesotaβs Economy | North Star Policy Action
We've heard from workers at Minnesota's largest companies who want to make it clear that ICE action in MN is causing fear and chaos for them and their customers.
Further, as @northstarpolicy.org found, it's not good for business either!

This is a feckless, delayed, and disappointing statement from Minnesotaβs business leaders.
ICE has been kidnapping and terrorizing their employees and local customers for 6+ weeks. Whereβs the leadership?!

One thing that might get a little overlooked here is how important it is that DHS is massively exaggerating arrest totals (10k??). What people on the ground know is that immigration enforcement is barely occurring, and ICE/DHS are really conducting a terror campaign in the guise of enforcement.

50,000 Minnesotans marching downtown in subzero weather.
Thousands more patrolling the streets, delivering groceries, and caring for families.
Faith leaders getting arrested by the dozens in acts of civil disobedience.
This is Minnesota. We stand together.

Bovino says well-organized protesters make ICE operation harder
Greg Bovino cited βcollusion and corruptionβ by Twin Cities officials and βanarchistsβ as reasons Operation Metro Surge has been more difficult than previous operations in other states.
"They've got some excellent communications, and that coupled with a very poor response from the mayor and the governor, those two things coupled together make that a difficult operating environment at times."
Keep up the good work, Minneapolis.

Impossible to describe what a raw nerve the rapid response channels are when youβre NOT on patrol. ICE sighted everywhere, all over the neighborhood. Silence and then swarming.
This is not an immigration agency, it is not a law-enforcement agency. It is a state-sponsored terror agency.

What Minnesotans Need to Know Right Now About State & Federal Surveillance
What Minnesotans Need to Know Right Now About State & Federal Surveillance Minnesota has built a military-grade surveillance system that now feeds federal enforcement. Hereβs what we can do about it...
π£ DID YOU KNOW? π
Ongoing aerial surveillance and "crowd monitoring" by the MN State Patrol in coordination with the MPD is shared directly with federal forces, including DHS & ICE, with no local oversight.
Here's what that means, and what we our state and local officials must do about it NOW.
