No, that's fucking insane, not to mention seriously concerning that they couldn't hold off for one evening, not to mention they couldn't be upfront with you about it. Major red flags here, and you're totally justified in being extremely upset by this.

I think at some point there needs to be a conversation about exclusivity and what each person is willing (or able) to commit to. And honestly I'd just be interested in what any potential partner did for a living. But I also know there needs to be a level of trust there to have that conversation.

My point is it read a lot like Trump's tweets. The rambling, the use of caps lock for emphasis, the paranoia. I dismissed it as the ramblings of a lunatic and carried on with my day, but it is kinda terrifying that this guy's president now.
