Well, I avoided going from Chicago to Denver by way of Atlanta. Also avoided being rescheduled to the same 8pm flight the next day, which would have been worse. Theoretically I'll be home just in time to wake the kids up for school.

Hopefully it works. I wouldn't push him to vote for anyone who is on the Democratic side, but they do sound like someone who could be talked into withholding their vote or voting third party.

Don't try to push his to vote for a Democrat, that will likely be a bridge too far. More along asking who in the GOP specifically is demonstrating the conservative values he says he believes in, and why would he vote for someone who doesn't have those (or is a Trump rubber stamp, lacking free will)?

Those would be pushy.

Softer approach would be playing on his anti-Trump feelings and asking who specifically he sees within the GOP that is providing leadership that for his values that is standing against Trump.

He's got to figure out how much or little daylight is between them and Trump.
