@billfromlongisland.bsky.social Given the Invaders theme, it might be fun to do an All-Star Squadron read afterwards to see how DC retconned their WW2 heroes.

This just amazes me. This year, 2026, marks the 50th anniversary of The Man Called Nova. FIFTY YEARS!!! How is that possible?

We're already seeing our closest allies making trade deals around us. Countries are looking for other, more stable providers. NATO is finding a path forward where the US is a junior unreliable partner. Allies aren't sharing intelligence data with us anymore.

In exchange for literally nothing.

They don't care if America as they know it can survive on its own as long as they remain in power and the people they hate suffer worse than them. They've willingly sacrificed relationships with friends and family to try to make the lives of people they've never met just a little worse than them.

Every single bit of good will and the vast majority of American soft power was lit on fire and all we got in exchange was $4T more debt, $1.2k more in yearly expenses, and skyrocketing healthcare costs. But people who are terrified of brown people will embrace their freedoms being taken from them.

What is worse is that this is only the beginning. By re-electing Trump, we sent the world a message on how unstable our democracy is. Then Trump took a wrecking ball to business stability with tariffs. Add in immigration policy that arrests and deports legal workers. Why do business with the US now?

Greenland has 56,000 people. Its health services are publicly funded by the Danish government.

It doesn't need a 1000-bed hospital ship that's in drydock, anyway.

Mobile, Alabama, where Mercy and Comfort are dry-docked, has 187,000 people & turned down Medicaid expansion under the ACA.

It might.

Stump speech would include that your AG pick would be tasked with having a dozen special prosecutors appointed within the first 60 days, including one for Epstein, one for Trump cabinet, one for ICE / CBP, and one for every Super PAC.

This clip is all over the other place and has made its way onto GB News and Talk TV so I’ll do a bit of an explainer here too!

The clip doing the rounds is of a fantastic police officer telling a group of Muslim men that a Christian preacher nearby is entitled to freedom of expression.

Incredible opinion. It holds that the common ICE tactic of jumping out of an unidentified rental vehicle and seizing suspected noncitizens while masked violates the Fourth Amendment because the *manner* of the seizure is incompatible with a free society governed by the rule of law.

DC leadership greenlighting an unnecessary story addition that only makes the entire cringe worthy story even more icky feeling. Never saw the appeal to the original story, but doubling down to make the animated version an extra level worse was certainly a choice.

Honestly DGAF what the party affiliation is, if your name is listed with regards to attending events that you specifically knew Epstein was attending, especially after the initial conviction, you've got some explaining to do to your voters, who then have to decide to keep you or not.

Assistant U.S. Attorney [REDACTED], Counsel for Respondents offers a host of
limp excuses for filing late. First, AUSA [REDACTED] admits he was fine with violating the
Court’s scheduling order, instructing his staff that it was okay to β€œfile before midnight if

to see until the Court ordered them produced. See, e.g., Response to Petition for Writ of
