It's increasingly clear that the president lives in a constructed bubble of unreality designed by aides who are manipulating him in order to take control of US policy. Seems like an important story - wish media would cover it.

Every question any reporter asks about the government shutdown should include, “Is it true the government is shutdown so Congress can’t vote on the release of the #EpsteinFiles?”

As a mother, a grandmother, an American, and especially as a human, this horrifies me.

I couldn't agree more. I worked for a corp that I really liked. And then the CEO and inner circle changed. They were so focused on money grabbing they lost contracts, damaged longtime relationships, revealed questionable ethics, made embarrassing accounting errors, and ruined the company reputation.

That's about 1200 people just 'disappeared' by our government.

In a moment like this, when tensions are high, part of the job of the president is to remind us of the ties that bind us together.
