The final 53 WRS mission into Erin is just wrapping up. This was the 24th recon mission on this storm, several of which were ~12 hrs long. Now set to begin flying on #90L into next week as it heads toward Bermuda. Hug your local hurricane hunter. 😅

After a week off of posting weather updates, I’m back. Below was shot on our ascent out of Puerto Rico last Friday.

Anchorage officially had 3.0" of snow yesterday. We have now passed the horrible winter of 2014-15 (25.7" vs 25.1"). Although the winter of 2015-16 (38.1") was MUCH worse for poor snow depth and icy conditions. @alaskawx.bsky.social
